Swami Dayanand Saraswati Commentary : One who is a knower of truth and falsehood by discrimination, virtuous, truthful, lover of truth, intellectual, and beneficial to all, is called ‘Pandit’ = Scholar.
In Hindi:
महर्षि दयानन्द व्याख्या : जो सत्-असत् को विवेक से जानने वाले, धर्मात्मा, सत्यवादी, सत्यप्रिय, विद्वान और सब का हितकारी है, उसको 'पण्डित' कहते हैं।
