Swami Dayanand Saraswati Commentary : i.e., attaining the grace of the aforesaid Supreme Lord, praising, praying, and worshipping the Supreme Lord, practicing righteousness, and performing virtue, the association of truth, faith, pilgrimage, the company of good men, and doing all good deeds of benevolence and others, and remaining away from all evil deeds, are called the 'means of salvation'.
