Swami Dayanand Saraswati Commentary : The one who has never been born, the cause for which is not there, i.e. the one who has always been self-existent, always remains present, is called ‘Eternal’.
In Hindi:
महर्षि दयानन्द व्याख्या : जो न कभी उत्पन्न हुआ हो, जिसका कारण कोई भी न होवे, अर्थात् जो सदा से स्वयं सिद्ध हो के, सदा वर्तमान रहे, वह ‘अनादि' कहलाता है।
